Welcome to Agape Adoptions (dba Americans Adopting Orphans), a licensed Child Placing Agency and 501(c)3 charitable organizations located in Sumner, Washington. We are also licensed in the state of Oregon. Agape Adoptions is fully Hague Accredited by the Council on Accreditation.

Agape is a Greek word pronounced "/əˈɡɑː.peɪ/ ə-GAH-pay " which means unconditional love, or parental love. We thought this was a great name for what we stand for. If you are thinking about adoption we would be happy to walk that path with you.

We provide home study and post placement services to families living in Washington State and Oregon for domestic and international adoptions. If you are in need of a home study or post placement report, contact us at to see if we can assist you. We can assist most families using a placing agency in another state.

We offer home study and post placement services to families living in the state of Washington and Oregon. We have adoption programs in Bulgaria, China, Romania, and Uganda. Agape Adoptions is in the process of developing more adoption programs.

The Council on Accreditation (COA), a national accrediting entity designated by the US Department of State to provide Hague Accreditation and Approval, invites the public to provide comment on intercountry adoption service providers seeking Hague Accreditation, Approval or Renewal. You are invited to provide comments through COA’s website at:
